The Thompson Sanitation building of Clarks Grove suffered serious damage from an F-1 tornado that struck the community on March 6. Most roads to Clarks Grove were closed to traffic early last week due to severe damage to the community.

Investigators with the Federal Aviation Administration and the Steele County Sheriff’s Office survey the wreckage of a single-engine plane Friday morning in a farm field just north of Beaver Lake near Ellendale.
